About
St Theresa of Avila wrote, “The Lord walks among the pots and pans.” What a perfect expression of the presence of the sacred in our everyday lives! It’s so easy to become caught up in the desire for spectacular visions and miracles, but we are surrounded by little miracles every day. As my mother wisely reminds me, we only need to recognize them.
A good friend of mine always begins her prayers with, “Thank You for letting me put my feet on the ground this morning.” Every day we have the chance to live in gratitude and with love. My husband and I are grateful for the gifts of our home, our marriage, and our family and friends.
My blog will feature my favorite aspects of everyday life, such as recipes, crafts, and natural health,
as well as an occasional book review, poem, or devotional. I hope you’ll visit often and feel at home here. Welcome!
